let us know what evans/stif have in... I'm looking for some forearm and elbow protection, decided the pressure suit I have is way too big, canny even mod it.. still only used it twice... anyone want to buy it its a large size lol... To be honest I have had no problems with the Brand X elbow and forearm pads I have. I bought them with knee and shin pads from Chain Reaction the elbows are £15 a pair and knees are £20 a pair. I have now cracked the plastic on one of the elbow pads, which to be fair I think would probably have happened with any pads I may have been wearing as I've had them ages and had a lot of crashes. The plastic is 2mm thick, which I also think will be likely of other brands. Anyway, they got really good reviews in MBUK when I bougfht them and the reviews on Chain Reaction seem to mirror them. Check them out for yourself, oh and they only come in Blade black!!! I'll be running mine into the ground, but might even get another pair when they are competely wrecked. www.chainreactioncycles.com/Reviews.aspx?ModelID=7090Otherwise, judging by any review I've read and from what people say, RaceFace Rally FR arm combi, but they are £40 in the sale, but they do have the older versions with slightly different strappings at £30. www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=11139www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=5029

Wittys had his plate full with other stuff!!! Fingers crossed they will both be back out and about soon fixed and will be about more now!! you still looking for pads marc? i went to stif and basically played the arsey customer, the fool behind the till said "knee pads, what do you want shins for?" after i said "i want knee and shin please". so first off, the guy was a cock. second off he could barely be arsed to retrieve them from their home swinging from the roof. i persuaded him to get them all down (i'm sure if i had massive tits i'd be ok). so i tried them all on and out of them all the raceface ones were the perfect fit for me. at first the guy didn't want to get them down as they were 'expensive' but i asked him to humour me. from what he said (though i don't believe him) raceface don't actually make a 'small' set of pads. think i got the large ones and they fit lovely. gimme a shout if you wanna try them.

Cheers Witty. I basically bought the medium ones from CRC, felt fine when I tried them on but after one ride realised they were a little on the small side when your calfs get warm. Thought I'd wash and sell them however realised the stitching had come lose already, so sent them back under warranty. Just waiting for the large ones to come through now but I'm still still worried about the stitching - I take it you haven't had any problems at all?
Think you're right about the Stif lot too, but I think you'd look crazy with big tits, lol.

my pads have been fine... you must've got the pair made by one of the new 8yr olds they got in at the sweatshop wheras mine were made by a veteran aged 9. as for tits, if they were cracking then i doubt you'd think i looked crazy, you'd be all over them. speaking of which, did you hear about that guy that had breast implants for a bet? he kept them in a year or so as he got attached to them...! there's a feature here: www.maximonline.com/articles/index.aspx?a_id=578and there's a pic of him with the aforementioned tits here (contains tits of course, so not work safe!): media.cgm.ru/data/549/95Zembic.jpg
