Hey up,
Was a wondering what's the reckoning on dual chain devices such as the e13 drs or blackspire dewlie.
And which one will fit using saint cranks/hollowtech II BB.

I've heard the E13 DRS is good as is the MRP LRP (which is cheaper ) I think both work with Saints too. Not sure about the other one tho. Ell has a dual chain guide on his hardtail, said he's never lost his chain either.

Thanks for the info Marc, the MRP one. There is a Black spire one in the sale on CC, but still unsure if I should bite the bullet and switch to a single chain ring or bolt on a 3rd.

dont go tripple!! Not on a bike like that!!
As I proved yesterday if you intend on riding anywhere on it a double is better than a single and a road block is just a silly idea! Perfect for pure DH but not ideal for other stuf!
Im a MRP fan but I had to tweek mine to fit onto saint cranks as they dont quite fit on the big spider but 2min with a file sorted that!

how hard is it to swap and change, could I run both? dual chain ring for the days when I may need to pedal and a single with chain device attached for the days when pedalling isn't an option? could that be done or would it be a ball ache?

go single ring! a bike like that looks cool getting pushed uphill and really cool getting ridden down fast ,NOT ridden up! it would be like fitting a roof rack to a f1 car
