Wharncliffe went good, very muddy and wet! there were a few of us there all chatting (some we knew some we didn’t) and at one point the head count was 9 plus the locals. Riding wise we had a go at peatys run, this time too but it was too hard for me to enjoy it in a couple of places in boggy weather, especially with stopping and starting at every feature to have a gander at the next feature, I bet its fun in the dry or if you know where it goes but all in all I reckon it’s my least fave run at wharncliffe (although that opinion may change in the dry)- Simply because the other runs are soo up my street though, not because it’s a crap track. We got a few runs in elsewhere, I got to go on my fave track again too(the one next to peats run) I got a puncture on a rock section but kept pedaling to take the win!!! (I set off first , lol.) had to call an early end to the day cos tim felt a bit ill but to be fair I think everyone was ready for the off anyway.
